More photos of the hike to Drakarpo, Paro, Bhutan
....And that's me 2.5 days after completing my 108 rounds of kora around Drakarpo
Coming to Paro and not taking a shot of the aircraft which used to be flying so close to the mountain doesn't actually make sense.
With one of the staff's sister
She was ever ready for a selfie..^_^
My supporting stick during my walk and also for protecting me from the heavy downpours
My sneakers - who has always been there for me
Man's best friend who was there for me waiting at the hilltop
Shes 87 years old and is still active ...she was actually with us completing her share of rounds.
At the back side of the mountain - shelter for us during the rainfall times
Stones at the back side piled up in their own unique way
One more uniqueness of stone
Some of the residents located at the back side.
Entrance to the monastery
Side view click
Backside top hill mountain
Sacred stone blessed by the Gods - people having back problems, leg problems and any physical pains can get rid of the sickness by placing their affected areas on the rock.
Walking path at the back side of the mountain
The backside of the mountain where we used to have our lunches
The front side of the holy mountain
Stones placed in an unusual way..
The structure of the stone does give an impression on the presence of snakes in and around the area.
